I have tried this forestone carbon neck on my Yamaha 62 tenor, but the intonation was not good as the orginal neck. The orginal 62 neck was to me steril and not lively. For me a big problem. A friend of mine send his 62 neck to SMG Custom in germany and this guy make a special resonance tuning. I tried and it is a great recommendation. Better than buy a overpriced forestone.

If it needs that sort of analysis for comparison then it’s a waste of 💰. If you can’t feel it or hear it in your bones then buy yourself a better mouthpiece. This gimmick is like the arthritis bracelet. If you believe it works then you fool yourself in making it work.

You need a more free-blowing piece. Don't know what you're using there, but it sounds like you're fighting it.

Bar 8 third 16th note should be an E not a D. Thanks for the upload.

It almost sounds like the Forestone had some technical issue like it didn't fit properly or something. It seemed more difficult to play, and I noticed some cracked notes. The Yamaha neck sounded like a Yamaha. I used to have a Yamaha tenor, and it sounded just like this: very crisp, dry, big, loud, very good clear highs, easy to make the low end bark. The Forestone had none of those qualities. But maybe it has others if enough time was spend exploring it. But the sound was different. I think this is the issue with replacement necks. Is the player looking for a different sound, or a better version of the sound they already have?

I think there is a smal mistake : the third note of bar 9 is a tone too low
